Volunteering is donating your time to help good causes and people. Some people volunteer to learn a new skill or to meet new people, others want to get work experience or a reference, and some simply want to build their confidence and have fun.
Volunteers carry out a range of roles in our programmes including:
• administrative support such as database work, contacting supporters and responding to enquiries
• supporting campaigns, fundraising events or media and communications work
• roles requiring specialist skills such as finance, audit, and research.
The opportunities available will depend on the needs of programmes/projects at hand. Some are long-term, while others may be short-term projects. Some roles may also be done from home to fit around your other commitments.
In return for generously donating your time, we will offer you support, training and certain basic needs we deem fit.
